The Honourable Guy A. Richard
(Chairman)

The Honourable Mr. Justice Guy A. Richard received a Bachelor of Arts degree cum laude from the Université de Moncton in 1953 and a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of New Brunswick in 1958. He was presented with an honorary Doctor of Laws degree from the Université de Moncton in 1987. In 1995, Mr. Justice Richard was appointed to the Court Martial Appeal Court of Canada. From 1985 to 1993, he served as Vice-President of the Canadian Judicial Council and President of the Judicial Conduct Committee for the 922 federally nominated judges. From 1982 to 1994, Mr. Justice Richard was Chief Justice of the Court of Queen's Bench of New Brunswick.

Mr. John P. Barry, Q.C.

Mr. John P. Barry, Q.C. is a prominent New Brunswick lawyer and a member of the bar for over 35 years. He is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, a Past President of the Canadian Lung Association, Founding President of the New Brunswick Kidney Association, and currently serves on the National Board of Governors of the Canadian Red Cross. He served on the Council of the Law Society of New Brunswick, on the National Board of the Canadian Bar Association, on the Editorial Board of the Canadian Bar Review and is also a Past National Chairman of the Canadian Bar Association's Communication Committee. In the early 1980s, Mr. Barry served as co-chair of the Law Society's New Brunswick Commission integrating the practice of law into New Brunswick's two official languages. Mr. Barry is a senior partner with the New Brunswick law firm of Barry Spalding Richard with offices in Saint John and Moncton.

Mr. George H. LeBlanc, Esq.

Mr. George H. LeBlanc is a partner in the law firm Anderson McWilliam LeBlanc & MacDonald, where he is a senior litigator. Since 1995, he has also served as a councillor for the City of Moncton, for which he currently chairs the Legal and Engineering Department Review committees. Mr. LeBlanc was granted Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Law degrees by the University of New Brunswick in 1978 and 1984 respectively. He is a Council member for the Law Society of New Brunswick and a lecturer for the New Brunswick bar course.
