The Honourable David G. Riche

The Honourable David G. Riche studied at Bishops Field College School and Memorial University. He was granted a Bachelor of Laws degree from Dalhousie University in 1959. He was called to the Bar of Nova Scotia and Newfoundland in 1960 and practiced law in St. John's from 1960 to 1982. Mr. Riche was appointed Queen's Counsel in 1980. In 1982, he was appointed to the Bench where he served until his retirement in 1999. Mr. Riche was appointed Umpire under the Employment Insurance Act in 2000 and member of the Pension Appeal Board in 2001.

Ms. Kathy LeGrow

Ms. Kathy LeGrow has been President of Steers Limited since 1997. She was granted a Bachelor of Arts degree by Dalhousie University in 1986 and is presently completing her thesis for a Master of Social Work degree at Memorial University of Newfoundland. Prior to 1997, Ms. LeGrow was Director of Operations, INTRA LeGrow's Travel from 1986-1997, Family Court Counsellor/Mediator, Unified Family Court from 1981-1985 and Social Worker/Director of Work Therapy, Waterford Hospital from 1970-1981.

Mr. Jamie M. Smith

Mr. Jamie M. Smith is a managing partner of Smith Coffey Law offices in St. John's and was appointed Queen's Counsel in 2000. He was granted a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Memorial University in 1980 and a Bachelor of Laws degree from Dalhousie University in 1987. He was admitted to the Newfoundland Bar in 1988 and serves as Member of the Canadian Bar Association. Mr. Smith also serves as a Bencher and Executive Committee Member of the Law Society of Newfoundland, Chairman of the Newfoundland Liquor Corporation, Director and Executive Committee Member of the Community Services Council of Newfoundland and Labrador, and as Founding Member of the Community Foundation of Newfoundland and Labrador.
