The Honourable Mr. Justice David H. Jenkins is a member of the Prince Edward Island Supreme Court, Trial Division. He was appointed to the Bench in 1993. Mr. Justice Jenkins graduated from Dalhousie University with a Bachelor of Commerce degree in 1970 and a Bachelor of Laws degree in 1973. He was appointed Queen's Counsel in 1986. Prior to his present appointment, Mr. Justice Jenkins was a partner in the law firm Stewart McKelvey Stirling Scales in Charlottetown. During his career in law and on the bench, Mr. Justice Jenkins has served as President of the Federation of Law Societies of Canada and as a Director and Officer of the Canadian Bar Insurance Association. He is currently President of the Judges Counselling Program, a Director of the Canadian Institute for the Administration of Justice and a member of the Canadian Superior Court Judges Association.

Ms. Zita Roberts was granted a Bachelor of Business Administration degree by the University of Prince Edward Island in 1978. Her career included several positions at the University of Prince Edward Island, including those of budget and research assistant, administrative officer/assistant to the director of administration and finance, and budget officer.


Mr. John MacDonald

Mr. John W. MacDonald has 28 years' experience with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP). Following his RCMP training in 1967, he held positions of increasing responsibility to the level of detachment commander, a position he held in Alberton Detachment, from 1990 to 1992 and Sherwood Parkdale Municipal Detachment, from 1992 to 1995. Following his career with the RCMP, Mr. MacDonald served as Provincial Coordinator of the Firearms Licencing Outreach Program with the Canadian Firearms Centre, Deputy Sheriff with the Department of Community Service, Attorney General of Prince Edward Island, an insurance agent with Pierce National Life, and Family Services Counsellor for Loewen Group funeral homes.
