5. The Way Forward: Roundtable Discussion

Members agreed on a number of items for the future, including the following:

• The board will meet in September 2014 and April 2015.
• The CEO will work with the co-chairs over the summer on an agenda for the fall meeting.
• The CEO would like to engage members on these items:
  • plans for the 2015 election
  • how Elections Canada could benefit from members' observations on the election
  • the shape of the post-election recommendations report to Parliament
