Leadership Contestants must submit their leadership campaign returns to Elections Canada within 6 months after the end of the leadership contest. The Canada Elections Act affords leadership contestants the opportunity to request an extension to this deadline from the Chief Electoral Officer.
The following is a listing of the New Democratic Party leadership contestants who have been granted an extension in accordance with the Canada Elections Act as well as their new deadlines.
