Global Electoral Organization (GEO) Network Conference, April 11 to 14, 1999

Elections Canada hosted the first worldwide gathering of election officials at the Global Electoral Organization (GEO) Network Conference in Ottawa from April 11 to 14, 1999.

The conference was sponsored by the International Foundation for Election Systems (IFES), the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance (IDEA) and the United Nations Electoral Assistance Division (UN-EAD).
