As required by the provisions set out in the Canada Elections Act, the legal deadline for registered political parties to file their Political Party Financial Transactions Returns as well as Trust Fund Returns (if applicable) was midnight, July 2, 2002. The Green Party of Canada applied for and was granted an extension to the original filing deadline.
The party submitted its financial reports for 2001 on Monday, July 29, 2002. These reports are now available for consultation at Elections Canada.
