REGISTERED POLITICAL PARTY FINANCIAL REPORTS FOR 2003
TO BE AVAILABLE FOR CONSULTATION SOON
OTTAWA, Wednesday, June 30, 2004 — As required by the Canada Elections Act, the deadline for every registered political party to file its financial transactions return as well as its trust fund return (if applicable) is midnight, June 30, 2004.
All returns must include a statement of assets and liabilities and a statement of revenues and expenses. An auditor's report must accompany the return of each political party. Documents received by the deadline will be available for consultation by members of the media from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Friday, July 2, 2004, and Monday, July 5, 2004.
