Election Simulation

This document complements Choosing Our Mascot and the School Elections Officer Guide, and makes an excellent educational tool for teachers from Grade 5 to the final year of high school. It's also a great resource for leaders of community groups.

This section explains how to organize an election simulation for a class of students or a group of young people. It's designed to help them learn about their right to vote and how to exercise it.

The full scenario normally takes 45 to 75 minutes, but can take longer, depending on the group's level of interest and the available time.
