Greet the elector by saying Hello, Bonjour
If they are here because they do not have a VIC, Transfer Certificate, or pre-printed
Registration Certificate. Proceed to step 2.
If they are here because they do not have ID option 1 or 2, go to step 3.
Ask the elector for their name and determine if they are on the List of electors.
If they are, go to step 4.
If they are not on the list, go to step 6.
Ask for the elector’s address. Determine if it matches the List of electors.
If it does, go to step 5.
If it does not match, go to step 7.
Find the polling station number on the list. Then determine if the elector has ID option 1 or 2.
If they do, send them to the polling station.
If they do not, go to step 8.
Ask for the elector’s address, and find it on the Poll key, then find their PD. Determine if the polling station for their PD is at your polling place.
If it is, go to step 7.
If it is not at your polling place, proceed to step 10.
Check the ID and determine if it is acceptable under option 1 or 2.
If it is acceptable, use the ID to prefill a Registration certificate, then send them to the polling
If it is not acceptable, proceed to step 8.
Inform the elector that they require acceptable ID or someone to vouch for their name and address.
Ask the elector if someone here can vouch for their name and address.
If they have someone, follow the instructions for Vouching.
If they do not, go to step 9.
Ask for the elector’s address, and find it on the Poll key, then find their PD. Determine if the
polling station for their PD is at your polling place.
If it is, send them to the CPS with their PD number.
If it is not at your polling place, proceed to step 10.
Use the List of polling sites to find the elector’s polling place. After which send them to the CPS with their PD number.
