Reporting requirements for the nomination contestant's campaign
Within 30 days of the selection date Elections Canada must receive:
- Nomination Contest Report (submitted by the registered party or the registered association that held the contest)
Within 3 months of nomination contest day financial agent must receive:
- Signed Nomination Contestant's Statement of Personal Expenses with all supporting documents
Within 4 months of nomination contest day Elections Canada must receive:
- Contestant's Nomination Campaign Return with all supporting documents, including the declaration signed by the nomination contestant and the financial agent (if applicable)
- Auditor's Report (if applicable)
