2.4.2 Vote Intent on Elections Canada's Website
The above stacked bar graph shows the percentage of respondents who said they would have voted had they been able to do it on the Internet using the Elections Canada website. The results are as follows:
- Overall 59 percent of the respondents said they would have voted on the Internet, 26 percent said they would not have voted even if they could have done it on the Elections Canada website and 12 percent said they might have voted on the Internet. Respondents who did not know or refused to answered amounted to 3 percent to the total.
- In Whitby–Oshawa 66 percent of the respondents said they would have voted on the Internet, 18 percent said they would not have voted even if they could have done it on the Elections Canada website and 14 percent said they might have voted on the Internet. Respondents who did not know or refused to answered amounted to 2 percent to the total.
- In Yellowhead 55 percent of the respondents said they would have voted on the Internet, 31 percent said they would not have voted even if they could have done it on the Elections Canada website and 10 percent said they might have voted on the Internet. Respondents who did not know or refused to answered amounted to 3 percent to the total.
