2.5.1 Voting Method Used

The above bar graph shows the method used by the respondents to vote on the November 17, 2014 by-elections. The results are as follows:

• The majority of respondents (81 percent) voted at the polling station on the election day, 16 percent voted in advance at a polling station (on November 7, 8 or 10), and 2 percent voted in the local Elections Canada office.
• Base: n=847 (those who voted in the by-elections)
