1.2.1 Reach of Elections Canada's Advertisement
The above stacked bar graph shows the percentage of respondents who noticed advertisement from Elections Canada about the November 17, 2014, federal by-elections. The results are as follows:
- Overall 34 percent of the respondents noticed advertisement from Elections Canada, 52 percent did not notice them and 14 percent did not know or refused to answer.
- In Whitby–Oshawa 40 percent of the respondents noticed advertisement from Elections Canada, 46 percent did not notice them and 15 percent did not know or refused to answer.
- In Yellowhead 27 percent of the respondents noticed advertisement from Elections Canada, 60 percent did not notice them and 13 percent did not know or refused to answer.
