1.3.1 Source of Information
The above bar graph shows where respondents got information on the voting procedures of the November 17, 2014, federal by-elections. The results are as follows:
- The voter information card was the most used source of information (68 percent), followed by newspapers (17 percent), Elections Canada householder brochure (7 percent), radio (7 percent), previous elections/past experiences (7 percent), friends/family/parents (6 percent), TV (4 percent), Internet (3 percent), candidates/parties election signs (2 percent), and Elections Canada website (2 percent).
