The graph shows where respondents saw or heard ads or communications about the voting process. Responses are from all phases of the survey: Phase 1, benchmark survey; Phase 2, registration survey; Phase 3, voter information card, advance polls, reminder brochure survey; Phase 4, election day survey; and Phase 5, post-campaign survey. The base is respondents who recalled an ad or communication.
The responses by communication type and phase are as follows:
- Television: Phase 1, 62%; Phase 2, 44%; Phase 3, 48%; Phase 4, 56%; Phase 5, 50%; for a notable decrease of 12 percentage points from Phase 1
