The Honourable Pierre Boudreault did his classical studies at Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf and then studied law at the Université de Montréal, graduating magna cum laude. From 1959 to 1976, he was a member of the Barreau du Québec and the Canadian Bar Association and practised law with the Montreal firm O’Brien, Home, Hall, Nolan & Saunders. He was appointed Queen's Counsel in 1976.

He was a Justice of the Quebec Superior Court from 1976 to 2000. Since early 2000, he has been practising law, specializing in arbitration and mediation. Mr. Boudreault is Chair of the Board of the Canadian Merit Scholarship Foundation, which, from its headquarters in Toronto, works to identify and support talented young Canadians pursuing undergraduate university studies in Canada who demonstrate not just superior academic ability but, also a great potential for leadership and entrepreneurship and a marked desire to serve the community.

As a lawyer in general practice, Mr. Victor Cayer has appeared before most of Quebec's courts. He is also chairperson of the disciplinary courts in Quebec penitentiaries. Mr. Cayer is involved in the running of various social and community organizations, particularly youth organizations. A graduate of the Université Laval, Mr. Cayer has been a member of the Barreau du Québec since 1970 and of the Canadian Bar since 1977.

A professor at the Université Laval, Mr. Pierre Prémont heads its Département des systèmes d'information organisationnels and co-chairs its Institut des affaires électroniques. He was CEO of the Société immobilière du Québec and then later served as Director General of the Parc technologique du Québec métropolitain. Mr. Prémont is a reserve officer in the Royal Canadian Navy (RCN). He is a chartered accountant and holds an MBA in organizational information systems and a Ph.D. in Administration Sciences.
