Commission's Preliminary Report

Upon completion of the public hearings, the Commission prepared its report. The report was then transmitted to the Governor in Council by the Commission. The report was tabled in the House of Commons on December 2, 2004 and referred to the Standing Committee on Procedure and House Affairs to give members of the House of Commons another opportunity to comment on changes to the federal electoral boundaries. The Committee has five sitting days for the filing of objections to the report.
