Every candidate's campaign has to submit the Candidate's Electoral Campaign Return.
This return contains information on the candidate's campaign expenses, contributions, loans and transfers, among other details.
Candidate's Statement of Unpaid Claims and Loans 18 or 36 Months After Election Day
This statement is required if the campaign has unpaid claims or loans.
It discloses information on the status of these unpaid claims or loans and an explanation of why they are still unpaid.
Correcting or updating a return
An amended Candidate's Electoral Campaign Return or
Candidate's Statement of Unpaid Claims
and Loans 18 or 36 Months After Election Day
has to be filed to correct errors or omissions, or to report new transactions.
Candidate's Statement of Surplus
After all financial obligations have been met, the candidate's campaign must dispose of any surplus funds.
This statement contains information on the amount and date of the surplus disposal, and to whom the surplus was transferred.
