This page provides data on the number of special ballot voting kits that Elections Canada issued to electors during the federal by-election in the riding of Durham (Ontario). A special ballot is used when an elector votes by mail, or in person at a local Elections Canada office.

For this by-election, the deadline to apply to vote by special ballot is Tuesday, February 27, 6 p.m. Electors need to return their completed special ballot by election day, Monday, March 4. Special ballots received after the election day deadline are not counted.

Special ballots are also used by incarcerated electors voting at their correctional facility and by certain Canadian Forces electors.
