List of confirmed candidates for the 2019 federal election
Foreword
The 42nd Parliament was dissolved on September 11, 2019, and on the same day, the writs were issued ordering that a general election be held on October 21, 2019. The deadline for candidates to file their nominations was 2:00 p.m. on October 2, 2019.
This publication contains the list of candidates officially nominated in each of the 338 electoral districts for the 43rd general election. The list is established under the Special Voting Rules (Part 11 of the Canada Elections Act) for electors voting under those rules.

Electoral districts
The electoral boundaries are those described in the 2013 Representation Order and section 30 of the Electoral Boundaries Readjustment Act.
Political affiliation
If the candidate and their registered political party have met the requirements of the Canada Elections Act, the name of the party that endorsed the candidate will appear on the ballot under the candidate's name.
If a candidate is not endorsed by a registered political party, they can choose to have either the word “Independent” or no designation of political affiliation under their name on the ballot.
