Spending Limits for Election Advertising – 2006 General Election


A third party must not spend more than $172,050 on election advertising expenses during the 2006 general election. Of this, it must not spend more than $3,441 in any electoral district for the promotion or opposition of one or more candidates of that district. A third party is a person or group other than a candidate, a registered party or the electoral district association of a registered party.
