Judicial Recount to Be Held in the Electoral District of
Desnethé–Missinippi–Churchill River

GATINEAU, Friday, October 30, 2015 – The Chief Electoral Officer of Canada, Marc Mayrand, announced today that there will be a judicial recount of the votes in the electoral district of Desnethé–Missinippi–Churchill River (Saskatchewan). Following validation of the results in the electoral district, the difference between the two leading candidates was 71 votes. A candidate requested the recount.

The recount will begin on Monday, November 2, 2015. The results of the recount will be published on the Elections Canada website after it is completed.
