Election Reminder Brochures are in the Mail
Gatineau, Wednesday, March 15, 2017
- Elections Canada has mailed a reminder brochure to each household in Calgary Heritage (Alberta), Calgary Midnapore (Alberta), Markham–Thornhill (Ontario), Ottawa–Vanier (Ontario) and Saint-Laurent (Quebec).
- The reminder brochure tells electors that if they have not yet received a voter information card, they should register or update their address before 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 28.
- Most electors can register or update their addresses online. Those who cannot or prefer not to can do so by calling 1-800-463-6868, or by visiting a local Elections Canada office. They can also register at the polls just before they vote.

- The brochure also provides information on the voter identification rules, including the pieces of identification accepted at the polls.
