I have the honour to submit my report, which covers the administration of six by-elections held on March 25, 1996. This report is submitted in accordance with subsection 195(1) of the Canada Elections Act, R.S.C., c. E-2, within sixty days after the return of the writs of by-election.

Preliminary information has been included on the voting results of the by-elections, together with an account of the events. The official poll-by-poll voting results will be published at the end of this year, in accordance with paragraph 193(b) of the Act.
