This is the template of a notice of an application by the returning officer for a judicial recount. It is used when the difference between the number of votes cast for the candidate with the most votes and for any other candidate in the electoral district is less than one one-thousandth of the votes cast. The returning officer fills in the electoral district name, and the date on which he or she made or will make an application to a judge for a recount. The returning officer signs and dates the form.
