1.5.3 Additional Information on the Voter Information Card
The above bar graph shows the information respondents recalled seeing on the voter information card in addition to where and when to vote. The results are as follows:
- The most recalled information was information about advance polls (19 percent), followed by location of the polling station/where to vote (11 percent), date/time of election/when to vote (9 percent), polling station number (8 percent), requirement of proof of identity to vote (7 percent), reminder/enticement to vote (5 percent), Elections Canada 1-800 number (2 percent), names of candidates/party information (2 percent), how to vote/rules (2 percent), and the possibility to vote by mail or at the local Elections Canada offices (2 percent).
