Reasons for Dissatisfaction with Location of Polling Stations
The bar graph is titled "Reasons for Dissatisfaction with Location of Polling Stations." It shows the breakdown of answers to Question 11 B, "Why were you not satisfied with this?" Up to three responses were accepted. The 109 respondents who were not satisfied with the location of polling stations gave the following reasons:
- 32 percent said there were accessibility problems on polling day
- 25 percent said the polling stations were inappropriate
- 22 percent said there were accessibility problems with advance polling
- 19 percent said there were not enough polling stations on polling day
- 15 percent said polling stations on election day were hard to find
- 12 percent said there were problems related to space in polling stations
- 9 percent said there were not enough advance polling stations
- 8 percent said advance polling stations were hard to find
- 6 percent said there were problems related to space in advance polling stations
- 6 percent said voters were uncertain about which stations to go to
- 4 percent said there was an inconvenient time frame or date for voting
- 4 percent indicated other reasons
- 1 percent did not answer
