Graph 14 – Aided recall of the "Ready to Vote" slogan

The graph shows the percentage of respondents who, when prompted, could recall seeing or hearing the Ready to Vote slogan. Responses are from all phases of the survey: Phase 1, benchmark survey; Phase 2, registration survey; Phase 3, voter information card, advance polls and reminder brochure survey; Phase 4, election day survey; and Phase 5, post-campaign survey. The base is all respondents.

The responses by phase are as follows:

• Phase 1: 15% said yes they could recall the slogan, 75% said no, 10% said they didn't know
• Phase 2: 23% said yes, 70% said no, 8% said they didn't know
• Phase 3: 24% said yes, 65% said no, 11% said they didn't know
• Phase 4: 32% said yes, 56% said no, 12% said they didn't know
• Phase 5: 35% said yes, for a notable increase of 20 percentage points over Phase 1; 48% said no; 17% said they didn't know
