Technical Briefing for the 44th General Federal Election

Gatineau, Wednesday, August 18, 2021—Elections Canada is holding a technical briefing on the various procedures and processes that electors will need to go through for the 44th general election as a result of the pandemic.

Elections Canada's subject matter experts will explain key changes in the 44th general election and answer questions from journalists.

This briefing will be followed by a news conference with Chief Electoral Officer Stéphane Perrault. Please consult the media advisory for that event for details.

Members of the media who want to attend by teleconference must register in advance by emailing media@elections.ca. They will receive the teleconference number and passcode.
