This bill amends section 51 of the Constitution Act, 1867 and includes transitional measures providing for the application of that amendment to the readjustment of electoral boundaries under the Electoral Boundaries Readjustment Act following the 2021 decennial census.

This bill would have amended the representation order declared in force by proclamation of October 1, 2013, under the Electoral Boundaries Readjustment Act by changing the name of the electoral district of Châteauguay—Lacolle to "Châteauguay—Les Jardins-de-Napierville".
This bill would amend the Canada Elections Act and the Regulation Adapting the Canada Elections Act for the Purposes of a Referendum to lower the voting age from 18 to 16 years of age.
This bill would amend the Canada Elections Act by adding to provide that, in certain circumstances, electors are to be supplied with ballots in an Indigenous language.
This bill would amend the Parliament of Canada Act to provide that a member's seat in the House of Commons is vacated and a by-election called for that seat if the member, having been elected to the House as a member of a registered party or as an independent, changes parties or becomes a member of a party, as the case may be.
