Health and safety measures

Elections Canada has implemented health and safety measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and keep electors, election workers and candidates safe during the election.

To do so, the agency consulted many stakeholders, including the Public Health Agency of Canada, the federal Government Operations Centre, provincial and territorial public health authorities, Indigenous Services Canada, the Assembly of First Nations, long-term care groups, political parties through it's Advisory Committee of Political Parties and disability groups among others.
